About the Taylor’s High Achiever Scholarship 2026

The High Achiever Scholarship supports academically qualified students joining postgraduate taught programmes at Taylor’s University. Both full-time and part-time students may be considered.

The award is available for 2026 intakes. However, scholarships are subject to availability and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an award.

The award does not cover the International Student Annual Fee, International Student Charge, visa-related fees, insurance fees or other charges outside tuition. It also does not cover repeated subjects or module retakes.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the academic and general requirements published by Taylor’s University.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.
• Hold academic results from a recognised institution in Malaysia, regardless of nationality; or be a Malaysian student with recognised overseas academic results.
• Hold a Taylor’s University Letter of Offer when applying.
• Apply using actual academic results.
• Enrol in a full-time or part-time postgraduate taught programme.
• Study at Taylor’s University in Malaysia.
• Apply for the programme and intake stated in the Letter of Offer.
• Progress to a higher qualification from the applicant’s current highest qualification.
• Begin from the first semester without credit transfer, except where the stated exception applies.

The scholarship does not cover study periods at overseas partner institutions, including student exchanges, unless fees remain payable to Taylor’s University where applicable.

Assessment and Selection

The scholarship assessment includes:

• A written assessment
• An interview for shortlisted applicants

Meeting the minimum CGPA or other eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. The scholarship value is awarded at the discretion of the Scholarships Management.

Applicants must submit complete applications before the relevant deadline. Taylor’s University states that late or incomplete applications will not be accepted, and decisions are not subject to appeal.

Application Process

Applicants should follow these steps:

• Select an eligible postgraduate taught programme and 2026 intake.
• Obtain a Letter of Offer from Taylor’s University.
• Prepare the actual academic results required for scholarship assessment.
• Submit the scholarship application at the point of enrolment.
• Complete the application before the deadline for the selected intake.
• Attend the written assessment.
• Attend an interview if shortlisted.

Applicants can apply for the scholarship only once for the relevant study level at any one time. Late applications and reapplications are not accepted.

Important Scholarship Conditions

The scholarship is linked to the programme and intake stated in the recipient’s offer. Changing or deferring the programme or intake during processing may void the application.

Recipients must begin their studies on the stated start date. Changing the programme title, duration or intake after receiving the scholarship may result in termination of the award.

Students may hold only one scholarship, bursary, award, waiver, discount or external sponsorship at a time. The Taylor’s University scholarship will end if a recipient accepts another external scholarship or sponsorship.
