Eligibility for the Flinders University Clinician PhD Scholarships

• Applicants must be eligible to enroll in a PhD program.
• Applicants must already be admitted, or be eligible for admission, to a PhD program at Flinders University.
• For the College of Medicine and Public Health, applicants should focus on medicine, biomedical sciences, or public health.
• Medical professionals must be registered to practise in Australia.
• For the College of Health and Enablement, applicants should focus on nursing, midwifery, or allied health.
• Allied health professionals must be registered to practise in Australia.
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clinicians and rural and remote clinicians are highly encouraged to apply.

Selection Process

The selection committee will rank participants based on academic performance, research achievements, the research project, and the research environment and supervisor. Candidates with the highest percentages will rank higher, which increases their chance of selection.
