Bucharest Summer University 2026 is an international academic and cultural summer school organized by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The program brings together students from around the world for two weeks of academic discussions, cultural experiences, and international networking focused on economics and related global topics.
Participants will attend courses led by professors and speakers from universities and companies worldwide while engaging in cultural and social activities designed to create meaningful global connections.
Program Overview
Bucharest Summer University is the official international summer school of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The program gathers students from diverse academic backgrounds to explore global economic topics while taking part in cultural exchange and social interaction.
The 2026 edition will run from 9 to 23 August 2026 and will host more than 40 participants on the university campus in Bucharest. During the program, students will participate in academic courses and activities alongside speakers and professors from leading universities and companies.
The theme for the 2026 edition is:
Leaders of Tomorrow in International Business and Economics: Reshaping Global Economy.

Eligibility
• Applicants must be university students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD)
• Applicants must be 18–26 years old
• Students from all countries and academic backgrounds can apply
