About the Moroccan Scholarship Programme
The Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, through its Academic Cooperation Programme with the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency, is inviting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The scholarship supports studies at Moroccan public universities, higher institutions, and vocational training centres. A total of twenty full scholarships have been offered for studies up to the Doctoral level.
Scholarship opportunities are annual. Scholarships that are forfeited will not be renewed.

Benefits and Financial Coverage

Confirmed scholarship coverage includes:

The stipend is a living allowance. It does not cover enrollment fees, boarding, local transportation, or other study-related expenses, which remain the responsibility of the student.
For students from Caribbean and Pacific countries, the stipend is 1750 Dirham per month, approximately US$190. It is granted for a 12-month period per academic year, from September to August.
The stipend is paid every two months through Banque Populaire branches. Scholarship awardees must show their passport when receiving the stipend.
Additional Grant for Master’s and Doctoral Students
Students pursuing a Master’s or Doctorate degree may be eligible for a lump sum grant to cover the cost of printing their dissertation or thesis.
This support is subject to submission to AMCI of a copy of the work, a certified copy of the diploma, or a certificate of completion of the course.
Language of Instruction
French is the language of instruction in most training institutions in Morocco. Candidates applying for this scholarship will require some level of mastery in French.
Successful applicants will be required to take French language courses at the International Language Centre in Rabat during the 2026/2027 academic year.
At the end of the language preparatory programme, students who pass the language examinations may enroll in the field of study or branch assigned to them before arriving in Morocco.
The Arabic Language and Literature and Islamic Studies courses are taught in Arabic. Candidates applying for those courses must be fluent in Arabic. The Legal Sciences course is taught in either Arabic or French.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Undergraduate selection is processed according to the requirements of the training institution, the area of study, available space, and the academic qualifications of applicants.
Undergraduate applicants must meet the stated requirements:
• Be aged between 19 and 23 years old
• Hold a CAPE or Associate degree from 2025 or 2026 with Grade A or B
• Or be preparing the same degree in 2026
• Maintain a good academic record during the last two semesters of study
Graduate Admission Requirements
Applicants for Master’s studies must hold a bachelor’s degree in the requested programme of study.
The official announcement states that Master’s applicants must have results showing the ranking of “1st class” or “2nd class,” or a diploma recognized as equivalent in the field of study applied for, with a good academic record.
Applicants for PhD studies must hold a graduate degree in the requested programme of study or an equivalent recognized higher education diploma qualifying them for the course applied for.
Master’s and PhD candidates must state their programme and university of choice at the time of application.

Registration Procedures
Successful candidates will receive a Letter of Information or Convocation through diplomatic channels. This letter will contain details about the training and scholarship conditions awarded, as well as the conditions for the study stay in Morocco.
Successful applicants must apply for a visa through the Moroccan Embassy in Saint Lucia.
Candidates who fail to report to AMCI within the allotted time will be considered to have withdrawn their application.
Upon arrival in Rabat, the student must present the Letter of Information or Convocation to the AMCI Guichet Unique to complete registration, scholarship, and insurance formalities.
The student must then reach the assigned university or higher institute to complete final registration.
Medical Coverage
During their study stay in Morocco, foreign students are required to contribute financially to an insurance policy.
The insurance policy offers the following benefits:
✓ Reimbursement of medical expenses
✓ Medical care
✓ Emergency medical evacuation to the country of origin in cases of serious illness
✓ Repatriation of the body in the event of death on Moroccan territory
Foreign students also benefit from medical care provided by public hospitals and health centers throughout Morocco.
