
ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships 2027 | USA/Canada/Mexico | Fully Funded
The ACI Foundation offers financial support to promising undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in concrete-related fields, including civil and structural engineering, materials science, construction management, and architectural engineering. These awards aim to foster academic excellence, career development, and future leadership in the concrete and construction industries.
Fellowship Benefits
Recipients of fellowships receive:
- $10,000 to cover tuition, books, materials, and housing
- Travel, hotel, and registration for two ACI Concrete Conventions
- Industry mentorship to guide professional growth
- Recognition in industry events and publications
- Some fellowships include a 10–12 week internship opportunity
The award cycle runs from Fall 2026 through Spring 2027.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected scholarship recipients gain:
- $5,000 for educational expenses (some in Canadian dollars)
- Recognition on the ACI Foundation website and in industry publications
These awards are available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students in eligible programs.
Special Regional Awards
Some region-specific awards include:
- MENA Student Excellence Award: ~$7,000 stipend, travel support, and ACI certification opportunities
- Saudi Arabia Student Excellence Award: Educational and travel support
These include mentoring and professional development for applicants from designated regions.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be full-time students in accredited concrete-related programs in the USA, Canada, or Mexico
- Undergraduates must maintain full-time status during the award cycle
- Graduate students must generally be in the first two years of a master’s or first four years of a PhD program
- Provide two endorsements (one from an ACI member)
- Demonstrate English proficiency for industry events
Finalists may be interviewed at the ACI Spring Convention.
