The SEAP Fellowship 2026 is now open for applications as a 3-month remote fellowship run by Nationality for All (NFA). It is designed for early-career human rights professionals and will run fully online, so fellows can take part from their home country without traveling or relocating.
Program Overview
The SEAP Fellowship 2026 is a full-time remote fellowship that will begin on June 15, 2026, and end on September 11, 2026. It focuses on building leadership, advocacy, and policy engagement skills among emerging global leaders.
Fellows will work with an international human rights organization and contribute to regional knowledge-building and advocacy. In addition, the program gives participants practical experience in research, fact-checking, and citation management.
Benefits and Stipend
Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend of AUD 200 to AUD 400, depending on the fellow’s location.

Eligibility for SEAP Fellowship 2026
Applicants should demonstrate the following:
• Strong desk research skills
• Good writing and analytical ability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to synthesize information clearly
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfort working independently
• Reliability in meeting deadlines
• Ability to maintain consistent communication remotely
Applicants should also have background knowledge in:
• Human rights
• Law
• Public policy
• International relations
• Related disciplines
Knowledge of citizenship rights, statelessness, and legal identity systems is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
Experience in research projects, human rights initiatives, non-profit organizations, or civil society organizations would be an advantage. However, prior professional experience is not mandatory.
Fellowship Responsibilities
The SEAP Fellows will support the NFA research team in updating the Second Edition of SEAP through fact-checking and additional research, website and report updates, and citation integration.
This includes:
• Reviewing and fact-checking existing SEAP country factsheets
• Conducting supplementary desk research where updates are required
• Verifying legal, policy, and statistical information
• Updating SEAP content on the website
• Revising report materials and ensuring consistency across outputs
• Adding and verifying citations across the SEAP website content
• Ensuring citation accuracy and source integrity
