The RIFS Fellows Program 2027 is now open for applications. It is a fully funded international fellowship in Germany for applicants from around the world, and it gives selected fellows time to work in the Potsdam area on research and new ideas for sustainability transformations.
Program Overview
The RIFS Fellows Program 2027 brings together fellows from different parts of the world. Each year, around 20 fellows join the program. They travel and stay in the Potsdam area while working on projects linked to sustainability transformation at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS). The program is open to people from different backgrounds, and no application fee is required. IELTS is also not required.

RIFS Fellows Program 2027 Eligibility
Applications are open to candidates from all nationalities. The fellowship welcomes scientists with a PhD or equivalent experience, as well as non-academic professionals with 3–5+ years of work experience. It also encourages people from media, arts, public policy, the private sector, and civil society to apply. In addition, applicants should be visionaries with a passion for sustainability transformation.
