Bond University Leadership Scholarship Overview
Bond University offers this scholarship to students who show high academic achievement. In addition, applicants must show strong leadership skills and community achievements.
Successful scholars receive 25% tuition remission. This applies to any single or approved combined undergraduate degree. However, the Bond Medical Program and Diploma entry students are excluded.
Students can start at Bond in the January, May, or September semester. Therefore, eligible applicants should plan their study start carefully before applying.
Scholarship Value
The scholarship gives selected students a partial-fee tuition remission.

The scholarship does not apply to the Bond Medical Program or Diploma entry students.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the official scholarship requirements.
• Be currently completing Year 12 or equivalent
• Be applying for undergraduate study
• Have not yet started at Bond or another tertiary institution
• Achieve a minimum ATAR of 84.00 or IB Diploma score of 30
• Show outstanding leadership, community, and extra-curricular achievements
• Meet the standard entry requirements for the chosen program
The scholarship is open to Australian or New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents completing Year 12 or equivalent inside or outside Australia. It is also open to Australian or Australian permanent resident students completing high school outside Australia. In addition, international students completing Year 12 or equivalent in Australia may apply.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare the required documents before submission.
• Evidence of leadership, initiative, and service to school or community
• Completed Summary of Achievements template
• Completed Leadership Scholarship Supporting Document
• Evidence supporting all leadership achievements or experience
• Academic responses to two scholarship questions
• Career advisor details for a school reference
Applicants must use the Summary of Achievements template. Bond University states that the application cannot be considered if the evidence appears in another form, such as a personal CV or resume.
Academic Responses
Applicants must answer two academic questions in the scholarship application.
First, applicants write a 250-word response about a time when feedback affected their motivation. They must explain why the feedback had that effect. They must also explain how they responded, or how they should have responded.
Second, applicants write a 250-word response about a group project where people had different priorities. They must explain what factors led to the success or failure of the project.
Both responses must use first-person language. Also, applicants must not include research, quotes, referencing, or generative AI.
Application Process
Applicants must complete two main steps.
• Submit the Bond University Study Application Form for the chosen program
• Submit the Bond University Scholarship Application Form
• Use the same login details for both forms
• Enter “scholarship” in the keyword field on the “Start an Application” tab
• Submit the scholarship application before the closing date
Late scholarship applications will not be considered. Therefore, applicants should submit the full application before the deadline.
Selection and Results
Bond University reviews scholarship applications after the relevant closing date. After applications close, applicants receive an email about the next steps in the selection process.
Each scholarship has a different selection process. However, Bond University states that all applicants will receive their scholarship outcome by email.

• Applicants applying for several scholarships must submit by the earliest closing date
Bond University allows applicants to apply for more than one scholarship in one scholarship application form. However, applicants will only be considered for the scholarships they include before submission.
