The Autumn Korean Culture Camp 2026 scholarship is a paid travel support opportunity by AYFN for selected applicants who want to experience South Korea through cultural, educational, and sightseeing activities. Scholarship Types

AYFN offers two scholarship categories for this program.

Gold Scholarship

✓ Program fee waiver of 100%, worth up to USD 950
✓ Flight expense support up to USD 750
✓ Visa processing fee support up to USD 50, if needed

Silver Scholarship

✓ Program fee waiver of 100%, worth up to USD 950
✓ Flight expense support up to USD 250
✓ Visa processing fee support up to USD 50, if needed

AYFN states that Gold scholarship recipients receive a program fee waiver and travel grant up to USD 750. Meanwhile, Silver scholarship recipients receive a program fee waiver and travel grant up to USD 250.

What the Scholarship Covers

The scholarship covers the following items:

✓ 6 days and 5 nights of shared accommodation in a double or triple shared room
✓ Breakfast 4 times and lunch 4 times
✓ Cultural and educational activities stated in the itinerary
✓ Scheduled sightseeing tours
✓ Local transportation by metro and bus
✓ E-certificate of participation issued by AYFN
✓ Full program guidance and support
✓ In-country coordination and administrative fees

Costs Not Covered

Applicants should also note the costs that are not included.

• Visa application fees
• Additional airfare expenses
• Personal expenses, including travel insurance, internet access, laundry, extra meals, or any items not listed under scholarship coverage

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet these requirements:

• Open to all nationalities
• Must be between 17 and 40 years old
• Must have an interest in travel and culture
• Must be involved in social and youth activities
• Must demonstrate leadership potential
• Must be physically and mentally healthy
• Must be ready to document all activities

Required Documents

Applicants need to prepare the following documents before submitting the application:

• Curriculum Vitae or resume in Europass standard
• 250-word motivation letter on “Why do I need this scholarship? and Why I deserve this scholarship?”
• 250-word essay on “Travel with a Purpose”
• E-book payment receipt for Travel Memoir: Maeum
• All documents must be in English

Application Process

The application process starts with a pre-application step. Then, applicants must buy the AYFN e-book product as part of the application process. AYFN states that there is no application fee, but all applicants must purchase the exclusive e-book.

After that, applicants fill out the online application form and submit it by 15 July 2026. Finally, applicants receive an email confirmation that AYFN has received the application package.

Important Terms

AYFN states that the number of scholarships is limited. In addition, one payment receipt is valid for one applicant only.

Applicants are not allowed to apply for both Gold and Silver scholarships. Therefore, each applicant must choose one scholarship type carefully. AYFN also states that the judges’ decision is final.

Payment through PayPal is for USD only and may not work in some countries, including Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and Timor Leste. Meanwhile, payment through Xendit is converted into Indonesian Rupiah because AYFN’s head office is located in Indonesia. The Xendit method is compatible with major cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and JCB.
