The MEXT Research Scholarship for Pakistani Students 2027 is a fully funded opportunity offered by the Government of Japan through MEXT. What the Scholarship Covers

Eligibility for the MEXT Research Scholarship for Pakistani Students

Application Process

Selection Process
The first screening is carried out by the Japanese diplomatic mission through application documents, written examinations in Japanese and English, and an interview. The interview is used to check the applicant’s research purpose, university knowledge, and language ability.
Applicants who pass the first screening then contact Japanese universities to request provisional acceptance. After that, MEXT carries out the second screening and university placement. Final selection results are notified through the Japanese diplomatic mission from January 2027 to early March 2027.
