The Canada‑China Scholars’ Exchange Program is a fully funded initiative supported by Global Affairs Canada and China’s Ministry of Education. It aims to strengthen academic and professional ties between Canada and China while giving Canadian citizens the chance to pursue post-secondary study, research, professional development, or Chinese language learning at top Chinese institutions.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected scholars may receive:

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be Canadian citizens

- Be available to live in China for the program

Program Duration
- Undergraduate/non-degree: 4–12 months
- Graduate degree: up to 24 months (full degree possible)
- Faculty/researchers/professionals: 1–12 months depending on project and agreement
